Texas Deserves was founded in 2025 and built on a simple belief: the people of Texas deserve better sex education.
After the nonprofit where they worked closed its doors, the co-founders of Texas Deserves—two passionate health educators and community advocates—transformed uncertainty into purpose. Drawing on years of experience in sexual health education and community outreach, they founded Texas Deserves LLC to provide Texans with accurate, inclusive, and shame-free education about sexual health and relationships.

Howdy y’all!

From the moment I was born, my father raised me to love this state. My paternal ancestors signed the Texas Declaration of Independence and fought in the Alamo. My mother taught to work tirelessly to always help those in need. I love Texas deeply, and I believe our communities deserve better than what they are receiving today.

Sex education is my passion. I’m a Certified Health Education Specialist with ten years of training and experience teaching sexual health education to people of all ages from preschoolers to parents to professionals. I fervently believe that young people deserve answers to their questions about sex without being shamed or judged, which is what Texas Deserves is all about.

My favorite topics to teach are anatomy, puberty, consent, and birth control! I'm a proud mom, outspoken middle child, and the daughter to two first generation college students.
